April saw the launch of a new Monthly Club Draw for members of WSAC. It is a combined monthly draw and lotto syndicate. Exact details of the draw are in the syndicate agreement but the basics of it are as follows:
To participate in the Draw you must: - Set-up a direct debit of €20 per month into the Draw bank account (to arrive in the account by the 1st of each month)
- Acknowledge agreement to the rules of the Draw by signing the syndicate agreement
- Each week a Euromillions Plus ticket worth €12 will be purchased by the Draw fund
- Any prizes won will be distributed equally amongst those paying into the Draw
- The club will be considered a ‘member’ and will pay into the draw also which means the club is also entitled to win the monthly draw and have equal share in any Euromillions prizes that are won. Ivan will sign on behalf of club.
- The monthly draw will be held on the last Saturday of each month and the winner will receive a cheque for €100.
- Proceeds remaining after costs/prize distribution will be put back into club accounts to fund running of the club (boat, boathouse etc)
